The Outwell Birdland 5 Tent has some obvious changes for the 2012 season, the more rectangular front makes the most of the floor area giving a surprisingly spacious living area for a tent with such a small footprint. This compact 5 man (4 in comfort) tent can be pitched very quickly, 5 - 10 mins max, we felt there are many couples or singles who would like an Outwel tent but only need the kind of space the Birdland 5 offers, saying all that if you add the Birdland 5 Front Extention you will have one of the best large couples tent available. Even though we are looking at a smaller Outwell tent there are still many of the features you expect from an Outwell tent such as the OWS system (Outwell Wind Sabilizer System) for class leading stability, plus large windows, Luminous Guylines etc etc.
